Below is a list of programs offered. We have over 25 years of clinical experience and over 12 years of combined experience in workshop development and presentation. All programs are surveyed upon completion for satisfaction and we are proud to share the results with you. Click the link at the bottom of this page to view some of our results.
Mobile Staff Development Workshops
Applied Alternatives offers Continuing Professional Education units (CPE's) to Texas teachers, administrators and counselors through the Texas Education Agency. We also offer annual CEU's on Team Building to School Board members.
Workshops are offered in an lecture / experiential based format. We tailor workshops to organizational philosophies with the underlining theme of Emotional Intelligence.
Applied Alternatives - Leadership Retreats for Students
We offer a two to three day leadership academy to both High School and college bound students. Both Low and High element "ROPES" courses are utilized. The use of activities helps develop perceptions and Emotional Intelligence skills with focus on Leadership and Self management.

Individual Parent Training and Parent Development Workshops
Applied Alternatives has compiled a parenting program based on the Emotional Intelligence model of human development. The curriculum has been approved by the State of Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services - Child Protective Services.
Individual and Group Counseling Services
We offer individual and group counseling services for the Tri County area - Brewster, Presidio, Pecos Counties.Sports Readiness Programs
We offer both Group and Individual Sports readiness programs intended to assist athletes in understanding individual and team resiliency, Fear dynamics and Pseudo-Self vs Real Self psychology. High and Low Element Ropes Processing.
